Cancellation should be easy to understand.

Doctor Kavach provides technology that connects doctors, patients and healthcare-related services. We understand that circumstances can change and that users may sometimes need to cancel a subscription, appointment or other service.

This Cancellation Policy explains the general principles that apply when a cancellation request is made through or in connection with Doctor Kavach.

Our approach to cancellations

We aim to communicate applicable cancellation requirements clearly and handle genuine requests fairly, while also considering services already activated, scheduled or delivered.

What this policy covers.

Depending on the service involved, this policy may apply to cancellation requests relating to:

  • Doctor Kavach subscription plans and practice-management services.
  • Appointment requests and bookings made through the platform.
  • Healthcare-related services made available through Doctor Kavach where cancellation is applicable.
  • Other services where the applicable service terms permit cancellation.

Cancelling a Doctor Kavach subscription.

A doctor may request cancellation of a Doctor Kavach subscription in accordance with the applicable subscription terms and available cancellation procedures.

In general, cancellation relates to future service periods. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically reverse charges that have already been incurred or services that have already been activated or delivered.

Future Service

A valid cancellation request may stop future subscription service according to the applicable subscription terms.

Existing Charges

Charges relating to an activated service are not automatically cancelled or reversed simply because a cancellation request is submitted.

Cancellation and refund are different.

Cancelling a service does not automatically create a right to a refund. Refund requests are handled separately under the applicable Refund Policy.

Appointment cancellations.

Patients and doctors may sometimes need to cancel or reschedule appointments. When cancellation functionality is available, users should use the relevant booking controls or contact support as soon as reasonably possible.

  • Patients should cancel appointments as early as reasonably possible when they know they cannot attend.
  • Doctors should communicate appointment changes to affected patients whenever reasonably possible.
  • Repeated false bookings, intentional disruption or misuse of the booking system may result in restrictions on platform use.
  • Any payment associated with an appointment may be subject to the applicable service-specific payment and refund terms.

A cancelled appointment is not a cancelled healthcare need.

If a patient still requires medical attention, they should arrange an appropriate alternative appointment or seek appropriate medical care.

A straightforward cancellation process.

Where a self-service cancellation option is available, users should use the relevant account or booking controls. If such an option is unavailable, users can contact Doctor Kavach support with the information necessary to identify the relevant service.

What happens after cancellation?

The effect of cancellation depends on the service involved. Cancellation may affect future access, future billing, appointment availability or other service functions.

  • Future subscription services may stop according to the applicable subscription terms.
  • Certain doctor practice-management features may become unavailable after the applicable service period ends.
  • A cancelled appointment may no longer remain available as an active booking.
  • Certain information may continue to be retained where necessary for legitimate business, legal or operational purposes.

Cancellation does not automatically mean a refund.

Cancellation and refund requests are considered separately. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable after activation unless otherwise stated, required by applicable law, or an exception is expressly approved by Doctor Kavach.

If you believe that a refund should be considered, please provide the relevant payment, booking or subscription information so that the request can be reviewed under the applicable Refund Policy.

Please review the Refund Policy.

A cancellation request itself does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund. Refund eligibility is governed separately by the applicable refund terms.

When another service provider is involved.

Certain Doctor Kavach services may involve third-party providers, including payment gateways, communication providers or other technology services.

Where a third-party provider has its own cancellation, payment or service terms, those terms may also apply to the relevant transaction or service. Doctor Kavach may provide reasonable assistance where appropriate, but cannot guarantee the independent outcome of a third-party provider.

Responsible cancellations help everyone.

Doctor Kavach is designed to help patients connect with doctors and healthcare services while helping doctors manage their digital practice. Responsible use of cancellation functionality helps maintain availability and service quality.

  • Do not create appointments without a genuine intention to use them.
  • Avoid repeated last-minute cancellations where reasonably avoidable.
  • Provide accurate information when submitting a cancellation request.
  • Contact Doctor Kavach support when a genuine technical or service issue prevents normal cancellation.
